This dynamic ministry is literally a BLAST! If you enjoy watching reality TV shows like extreme make over, then its time for you to get your gloves and safety goggles on and come make a difference in your community and in someone's daily life! Love Your Neighbor is an annual summertime ministry of Mosaic Covenant Church. The church members pull their resources together every year to, pick out a few people in need, and put a large amount of focused energy and resources into improving a neighbor's place of residence. This year it involved landscaping, painting, sanding decks, replacing roofs, decorating, and removing old debris from the yard and improving the functionality of the space. What does that boil down to? We just wanted to make a difference in our community, and someones' life by showing them that we as Christians do care enough to get involved and to show God's love, even if it means picking up a hammer or a paint brush.

The teams have a great time when they gather before hand for a light breakfast, a few worship songs and the passing out of duties and schedules. It is a large operation and God has blessed us to be able to do two of these outreaches this year. We do look forward to having each ministry develop its own leadership team that can see projects through on a year round basis. Can you imagine what that would be like!
